About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS (must be AHA), ACLS Must-Have: - Proficiency in EMR systems, specifically EPIC - Scrubs: Navy blue pants and solid navy blue tops or solid white tops; jackets must be solid navy blue or solid white Description: This role involves working in a 12-bed medical-surgical intensive care unit. The nurse-to-patient ratios are 2:1 for ICU and 3:1 for intermediate care. Charge nurses provide staffing and assignments, while resource RNs and clinical technicians assist in patient care. Nurses are expected to be flexible and may float to different units as needed. Weekend shifts are required, typically 4 to 6 shifts within a 6-week period. The candidate must have access to the EPIC system to manage patient records effectively. No on-call or holiday shifts are anticipated for this position.
