Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will: Ensure optimum operational performance of machinery and facility equipment Drive hands-on preventive maintenance to reduce downtime Provide rapid response for emergency and unscheduled repairs Serve as a safety-conscious collaborator on the production floor Be a key contributor to extending equipment life and reducing repair expenses What You’ll Do Install, maintain, adjust, repair, rebuild, and assemble production machines and plant facility equipment Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs during production, as well as scheduled maintenance during machine service windows Execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair Dismantle and replace manufacturing equipment using layout plans, blueprints, and repair manuals Perform a variety of plumbing and carpentry maintenance functions for facility upkeep Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment safely Detect faulty operations and defective materials, promptly reporting unusual situations to supervision Maintain a safe and clean working environment by strictly complying with procedures, rules, and PPE regulations Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required service Update inventories and other maintenance supplies as needed What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED required; advanced technical or college training preferred 2+ years of related industrial maintenance experience Valid driver’s licenseStrong familiarity with troubleshooting, configuration, installation, and repair of manufacturing equipment Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, plus furnace and temperature control system troubleshooting Knowledge of machines and tools, including welding and cutting torches Basic experience reading pneumatic diagrams and blueprints (Basic PLC knowledge is a plus) Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Strong problem-solving ability and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset Highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership for equipment performance and facility condition Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines with multiple interruptions Working Environment / Physical Demands Loud work environment requiring appropriate PPE, including hearing protection Highly active position requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing up to 25 feet throughout the workday Frequent lifting and/or moving of items over 75 pounds Specific vision abilities required including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment Manual dexterity sufficient to operate common manufacturing machinery and hand tools Work involves moderate exposure to hazards, extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, moving mechanical parts, and vibration Must speak clearly in English and be able to hear at normal speaking levels Why You'll Love It Here Innovate with Impact: Support advanced manufacturing operations that power innovation for Fortune 500 clients and high-growth startups Growth-Driven Culture: Access ongoing training, cross-functional exposure, and opportunities to deepen your technical skills in industrial maintenance Customer-Centric Mission: Play a key role in ensuring the reliability and quality of equipment that enables on-time, high-precision production Collaborative Team: Join experts passionate about precision, efficiency, safety, and sustainable manufacturing practices #J-18808-Ljbffr
