Associate Attorney

Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its expanding practice. Key Responsibilities: Handle a variety of civil, business, and corporate law matters. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents. Manage cases from inception through resolution. Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal counsel to clients. Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings as needed. Build and maintain strong client relationships while collaborating with attorneys and staff. Requirements: J.D. from an accredited law school. Active Louisiana Bar license (or ability to obtain). Experience in civil, business, and/or corporate law. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to independently manage a caseload while working collaboratively in a team environment. Performance Expectations: Annual billable hour requirement of 1600 hours Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 – $150,000 annually . Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
