Responsibilities include: Assessing patient needs based on data collected through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis. Providing age-specific nursing interventions aligned with the plan of care and standards of practice. Fostering a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors. Using appropriate health and safety equipment to protect patients and staff. Applying standard work related to Nursing Sensitive Quality Indicators. Mentoring novice employees and contributing to department performance. Participating in hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based practices. Engaging in professional growth through goal setting and educational activities. Floating to assist in other units as needed. Performing all other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Advanced resuscitative certification if serving as a charge nurse. Requirements: Valid Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
