Commissioning Technician

Schneider Electric

Job Title

Role Focus Hands-on support of commissioning activities under direct supervision, focused on electrical power and control systems within prefabricated modular data center products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic pre-functional checks using approved OEM checklists
  • Assist senior technicians and commissioning engineers during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
  • Verify electrical terminations, labeling, grounding, and system completeness
  • Support equipment energization under close supervision
  • Perform basic control point and alarm verification
  • Document test results and report discrepancies
  • Follow OEM safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO)

Systems Exposure

  • Low-voltage power systems
  • UPS and battery subsystems
  • Basic PLC I/O
  • Component-level testing

Experience & Skills

  • 0–2 years relevant experience, technical or trade background
  • Ability to read basic electrical drawings

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 0 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
