Quality Program Manager

$40 - $50 per hour

Program Manager – TRIGO ADR Americas – Aerospace The Program Manager will drive the successful execution and implementation of projects in support of TRIGO ADR Americas’ Aerospace Customers and Suppliers. The Program Manager will plan, organize, and manage all activities necessary to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects within established objectives. Working onsite at either our customer’s or Supplier’s location, the Program Manager is the liaison with executive management and all functional departments to understand Customer / Supplier requirements and drive results. Essential Functions Oversees project life cycle and ensures results meet requirements regarding quality, reliability, scheduling, and cost Acts as primary Supplier and Customer liaison for program activities, leading program review sessions to discuss schedule, resource, and technical performance Engages Supplier Program Management team on behalf of TRIGO ADR Customer to drive successful execution and implementation of projects Facilitates timely decisions to maintain project schedule while providing metric updates to management Follows established guidelines to manage the completion of project milestones from beginning to end of the lifecycle Identifies project risks and provides solutions to minimize/eliminate risks, monitoring key project processes for compliance with objectives Supports internal distribution of all project-related documentation for review and revisions as required Builds strong relationships with Suppliers and Customers, and develops a deep understanding of their objectives Participates on integrated product team (IPT) as required and acts as a proactive team member to ensure successful project execution Establishes effective communication cadence with all project stakeholders and implements escalation process Manages project scope to include project initiation, scope planning, scope definition, and scope change control activities Ensures communication and exchange of information from different department heads that directly impact programs Performs other duties as assigned Knowledge Quality Management Systems and QMS auditing Risk assessments and mitigation Root cause and corrective action methodologies ITAR and FAR / DFAR regulations Contract structure types and proper cash flow drivers PMI principles and tools Product Development / Production life cycle (NPI) Aerospace Supply Chain Operations / Manufacturing ERP/ MRP Systems Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Change management principles and performance evaluation processes Understanding of manufacturing and quality processes Aerospace industry compliance requirements Strong background in project management methodology Strong technical background Attention to details and ability to conduct multiple tasks without degradation to outcome Self‑motivated with problem‑solving and decision‑making skills Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop clear and detailed plans Fluent English – reading and writing is required Professionalism, integrity, and exceptional attention to detail Strong independent decision‑making skills; excellent analytical skills and professional judgment Proficient with all Microsoft Office Products including MS Projects Effective communication skills Flexible and adaptable to meeting the evolving needs of a high‑growth and fast paced organization Skills Understand and evaluate the technical specifications, requirements, and capabilities associated with the program Work independently and interface with cross‑functional disciplines; using excellent interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion Manage multiple activities and projects; ability to work in a matrix organization Self‑manage and be self-directed in a production working environment Communicate at the shop floor level up to the VP, C‑suite level Develop strong relationships Lead and work hand in hand with the customer on production and day‑to‑day program needs (technical and others) Lead a program from LRIP Production into full production Prioritize workload of subordinates to align with project requirements and company initiatives Multi‑task in a high pressure, fast‑paced environment; identify and resolve issues at the production level Establish and maintain effective working relationships Education and Experience Education – B.S. degree in applicable engineering discipline, business or equivalent Aerospace and Defense experience – 10 years prior related program management experience with multi‑million dollar direct to Government and Prime Aerospace Contractor defense and security contracts, to include cost‑plus and firm fixed price contracts Experience in Microsoft Office and MS Project Experience establishing program performance baselines and monitoring adherence to program plans and schedules, and developing customer relationships to drive long term success Experience in Earned Value Management Proven competence in managing contracts and contracted activities Experience in analyzing and mitigating program risks Experience in building and managing customer relationships to seek out and identify new business opportunities Track record of leading and negotiating complex changes with the customer Proven track record of completing projects on schedule and within budget parameters Demonstrated experience in comprehensive understanding of operations of assigned contract(s) Licenses, Certificates & Other Requirements US citizenship required Program Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification Pass pre‑hire background check including DMV Pass pre‑hire drug screening Reliable transportation – must have current/active driver’s license and valid auto insurance Working Conditions Productivity: Incumbents must perform work in an efficient, effective, and timely manner with minimal direction. Mobility: Incumbents are required to participate in assigned physical activities which may include light lifting and sitting for prolonged periods of time. Vision: Vision sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, and observe behavior of others. Environment: Typical office conditions, directly working Quality management team, working with the Trigo team, and external customers. Other Factors: Typical hours worked are Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Incumbents may be required to work occasional extended hours and weekend overtime. The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk (approximately 1‑2 miles a day); sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee will occasionally drive long distances to and from various suppliers as needed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Pay Range Pay Range: $40‑$50 hourly. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
