Position Summary Sam's Club #6636, 3465 Berlin Turn Pike, Newington, CT 06111-5106, R-177113. Full‑time position with variable shifts. Hourly wage $20.00–$28.00 per hour, with additional compensation through annual or quarterly performance incentives and optional premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. What You’ll Do Be a Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications for prepared food merchandise, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate associates on tools and resources, communicate effectively with team members, and adapt to business needs by working in other areas. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future and mass production, prepare for seasonality, adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, club pickup orders, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive area performance; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date‑control standards; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, handling payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues. Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate; develop, influence, and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team‑oriented style; understand roadblocks and assist in training. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Agree to complete all required training and assessments within a prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Food Safety Certification.
