Starting pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity, and typically falls between the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.Full time position 7AM - 4PM (with hour lunch break 12-1PM)Comprehensive benefits offeredMedical, Dental, VisionHSA/FSALife Insurance, Long-Term and Short-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance Program401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off (PTO)Responsibilities:Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in a high-quality and efficient mannerTroubleshoot and test instruments, components, and assemblies using various tools such as circuit testers, oscilloscopes voltmeters, etc.Inspect, maintain, and install electronic systems, such as navigational systems, radar technology, radio communication systems, flight control tools, and other avionics systemsPerform operational/functional checks on aircraft electrical systems and equipmentOperate equipment to test, diagnose, locate, and deficienciesUtilize a strong understanding repair of electronic theory to effect timely repairsAssemble components including switches, electrical controls, and junction boxesLay out installation of aircraft assemblies and systemsInstall, route, upgrade, and repair wire harnessesInstall avionics equipment per engineering drawings while following wiring standardsPerform basic soldering, harness build up and installation including wire stripping and crimping, fault isolation and repair of avionics system failuresRead and interpret technical data including original equipment manufacturer maintenance manuals, illustrated part catalogs, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, etc. to direct maintenance repairsMaintain a safe and clean work environment and report any unsafe conditionsMaintains responsibility for proper execution of parts tag instructions in accordance with the Repair Station Quality Control ManualMaintain communication with assigned Team Lead for task updates and status reportsOther duties as assignedRequirements:A&P license (preferred)Extensive ability to read and use schematics and blueprintsHigh school education required; some college preferredElectronics trade school or military training equivalent for repairing electronics preferredDemonstrated experience in the fault isolation and repair of avionics systems2+ Years of recent hands-on avionics maintenance and modification experienceFAA Part 145 knowledge preferredWork well with others in team environmentExperience working in AS9100 or ISO 9001 environment preferredAbility to: lift, balance, and carry 50 lbs, crawl in and out of tight spaces, and predominantly work in enclosed hangars, occasionally in exterior weather conditions or elevated heightsIt is the policy of Dynamic Aviation to prohibit and eliminate discrimination on grounds of race, color, religion, sex, (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or any other characteristics protected by law.
