Overview

A company in Olathe this in major growth mode is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator/Payroll professional to join their team. This role is vital in managing comprehensive HR functions, including payroll processing, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Process employee payroll using an outside system such as ADP, Paychex, or Paycor to ensure accurate and timely compensation for all employees.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation claims.
• Manage the open enrollment process and distribute the required benefits notice
• Maintain and update Human Resources databases for data accuracy and reporting.
• Support talent acquisition efforts through HR sourcing strategies, applicant tracking system
• Handle the staffing process that includes background checks
• Facilitate employee orientation sessions, performance evaluations, training & development programs, and succession planning initiatives.
• Update and maintain employee manual

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a human resources role within a corporate environment.
• Experience using an outside payroll system like ADP, Paychex, or Paycor.
• Familiarity with employment & labor law regulations, including FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act), OSHA standards, and workers' compensation procedures.
• Experience with benefits administration
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across diverse teams.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
