Registered Nurse PACU

Role Overview Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced PACU environment, focusing on interventional radiology cases with opportunities to care for critically ill ICU patients. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs, promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on post-treatment care, and ensuring communication across care teams. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while adhering to standards of safety and regulatory compliance. Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team. Qualifications & Skills RN license required; Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree minimum, Bachelor's preferred. No prior experience required; less than 2 years preferred. Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive position. Pre/post or critical care experience preferred.
