Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Monitor Tech with expertise in EKG monitoring to ensure patient safety and accurate cardiac monitoring. The role involves maintaining constant surveillance of ECG readings and responding promptly to any abnormalities.

Responsibilities:

• Observe and interpret patient cardiac rhythms continuously to identify arrhythmias or other abnormalities.
• Document and report findings accurately to the healthcare team.
• Ensure all monitoring equipment functions correctly and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards regarding patient monitoring.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to support patient care and respond to emergent situations.
• Follow all credentialing and certification requirements to uphold professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold active licensure and verification for monitor technology or related clinical certification.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications or other applicable credentials.
• Demonstrate experience with EKG monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
• Complete minimum credentialing requirements within specified timelines.
• Be able to pass drug screening and background checks prior to start.
• Show proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or valid declination.
