Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.This Acute Care position includes a mix of Med/Surg and Telemetry patients.Typical staffing ratio: 1:6Meditech experience preferredMinimum 36 hours/week, including every other weekendA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role:Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN.Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication.Documents patient care provided.Assists RN with development of plan of care.Assists patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family.Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.
