What You Will Do & Who We Are Looking For We are seeking a hands-on leader who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, developing maintenance teams, and supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is committed to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. Lead daily maintenance activities supporting production equipment and facility operations. Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. Troubleshoot and oversee repairs involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Supervise and develop maintenance personnel while promoting accountability and teamwork. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support operational goals. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Respond to equipment issues with urgency and focus on minimizing downtime. Strict Employment Requirements Because we manufacture high-quality defense and law enforcement security products, all hires must meet these federal and safety standards: Pass a pre-employment drug screening and continuous random drug testing. Pass a federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms (ATF) criminal background check. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily maintenance operations for production equipment, facilities, and utilities. Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate maintenance technicians and support personnel. Coordinate installation, startup, and optimization of new equipment and production assets. Maintain inventory levels of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and tools. Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, work orders, and compliance records. Promote equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers as required. Respond to emergency maintenance issues and support production needs. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications Strong leadership and team development skills. Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to diagnose equipment failures and coordinate effective corrective actions. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintenance activities. Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Preferred Experience but Not Required Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Lead, or Senior Maintenance Technician. Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, defense, or regulated environment. Technical certification, vocational training, apprenticeship, or trade schooling. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). Experience managing preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives. Knowledge of OSHA requirements and lockout/tagout procedures. Requirements Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facility maintenance. Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience. Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical and electrical systems. Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues. Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
