Are you a Controls Engineer with experience taking custom automation projects from concept through commissioning, looking to work on cutting-edge equipment & progress into senior and management positions?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly specialized automation company that creates custom automation machinery for household name customers. You'll work on complex, technically challenging projects where no two machines are the same, while receiving long-term training and development from some of the industry's most experienced engineers.

This well-established company has a strong reputation for being a leader in their niche. Working closely with major R&D organizations, universities, and specialist manufacturers, they help transform innovative concepts into fully automated production and testing equipment used worldwide.

In this role, you will support the full lifecycle of automation projects, including electrical design, schematic creation, PLC programming, commissioning, FAT/SAT execution, validation documentation, and customer support. Initially working alongside Senior Engineers, you'll gradually take ownership of larger and more complex projects as your expertise develops.

This role would suit a Controls Engineer with experience working on custom automation projects, commissioning specialist automation machinery, and seeing projects through from concept to completion.

The Role:

Full lifecycle controls engineering on custom automation projects

Electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring & PLC Programming

FAT, SAT, Commissioning & Safety Assessments

The Candidate:

Experience with full lifecycle controls engineering projects

Proven commissioning experience

Experience with FAT & SAT Procedures
