Flexible scheduling, typically 1 to 5 shifts per month. Openings: 5 Travel: Travel required. Travel and lodging provided. Position Overview Provide VA Compensation and Pension examinations for Veterans focused on Traumatic Brain Injury and related psychiatric and behavioral residuals. Evaluation only. No treatment. No prescribing. Perform structured psychiatric interviews and mental status examinations. Complete applicable Disability Benefits Questionnaires in the electronic system and submit within 24 to 48 hours after the exam. Required Qualifications MD or DO with completed Psychiatry residency. Active, unrestricted medical license. DEA may be required for credentialing. Strong documentation skills and comfort with electronic systems.
