Nurse Lead - Inpatient Rehab + Tuition Reim & 401(k)

Nurse Supervisor – Encompass Health We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing care within our inpatient rehabilitation units. The role involves overseeing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with procedures, and providing direct patient care as needed. Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures. Act as liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff. Supervise nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or units. Monitor and manage staff, including on-the-spot feedback, annual evaluations, performance counseling, and discipline. Assume patient care duties when required and build relationships with patients to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs. Celebrate patient victories throughout the recovery process. Qualifications Current RN licensure as required by state regulations. BLS certification with ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of starting. CRRN certification to be obtained within a year of meeting eligibility requirements. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting within the last five years. Previous leadership role such as charge nurse or lead capacity, responsible for interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and accountability for patient and staff results.
