We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence.**Department:**CC017000 Laboratory Administration**Job Description Summary:**## Position Responsibilities* Compiles monthly, quarterly and annual quality reports.* Reviews Critical Value reports and forwards actionable items to the appropriate manager for review.* Tabulates reports that impact laboratory quality reporting for the administrative director and medical director.* Reviews incident reports and includes in quality measures.* Conducts quarterly billing audits, reviews medicare denials and reports to both the director and Ethics and Compliance committee.* Assists with CAP Laboratory General checklist review and recommends changes to meet standards.* Assists with the Pathology teaching program, providing lectures and education as needed.* Assists with planning for facility improvements as well as any new construction as requested.* Is available as a consultant as needed.* Ensures that all data is updated in shared drive to ensure tracking and access as needed to interested parties.* Reviews PT Surveys and evaluates ungraded results and SDI's to identify issues with quantitative assays at the request of the director.* Represents the department at the Ethics and Compliance Committee, and Patient Safety committee as well as other hospital teams that require laboratory expertise.* Is available to assist with management coverage as possible in the absence of the director.* Is available to assist with special projects as needed.## Qualifications* ### License/Registration/Certification + Licensed as a Lab Supervisor or eligible by the State of Florida preferred.* ### Education + Commensurate with licensure* ### Experience + 3-5 years as a Supervisor or Medical Technologist III**Benefits:**We believe in the physical and mental well-being of our employees and are committed to offering comprehensive benefits that fit their personal needs:* Health benefits* Life insurance* Long-term disability coverage* Healthcare spending accounts* Retirement plan* Paid time off* Pet Insurance* Tuition reimbursement* Employee assistance program* Wellness program* On-site housing for select positions and more!
