Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality mental health care. This role involves working with individuals, families, and groups to promote emotional well-being and facilitate personal growth through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs. Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients, including those with PTSD, addiction issues, or developmental disabilities. Engage in crisis intervention and management strategies to support clients in acute situations. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including DSM 5 diagnosis. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care, including case management and coordination of services. Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions when necessary. Stay informed about developments in the field of mental health counseling through ongoing education and training. Experience Candidates should have experience in the following areas: Psychotherapy techniques including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and commitment therapy. Working with diverse populations. Direct support roles involving patient care, assessment, and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and clinical documentation standards. Knowledge of social work principles as they relate to mental health care delivery.
