Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combination ICU setting (MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU, etc.) with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1-2 dependent on acuity, with the possibility of flexing up to 1:3
• Maintain 1:1 ratios for high-acuity patients requiring CRRT, IABP, Impella, and similar interventions
• Titrate critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, insulin, and more
• Read and interpret telemetry strips independently; no monitor technician is assigned to the unit
• Assist in troubleshooting and managing respiratory needs, including ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, and breathing treatments
• Float to other acuity levels (PCU/Stepdown, MS-Tele) as needed to support staffing gaps

• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Comfortable titrating all critical drips in an ICU environment
• Ability to manage and troubleshoot ventilators and other respiratory equipment
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; valid driver's license must be submitted

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers must have 3 or more years of ICU experience and Epic EMR experience
• Familiarity with combination ICU patient populations including general critical care diagnoses
• Experience with high-acuity interventions such as CRRT, IABP, and Impella

• Work in a dynamic combination ICU environment with exposure to a broad range of critical care diagnoses and advanced interventions
• Schedules are set by leadership on a 6-week cycle, offering structure and advance visibility into your upcoming shifts
