Our client is a recognizedaviation, aerospace, airline, manufacturing, or MRO organization supportingaircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul, production, line maintenance, and/orairworthiness operations. PositionTitle: Aircraft Assembly Structures Mechanic Location: North Charleston, South Carolina JobOverview: We are hiring Aircraft AssemblyStructures Mechanics to support commercial aircraft production and structuralassembly work in a high-quality manufacturing environment. The role involvesinterpreting drawings and technical work instructions, using hand and powertools, completing assigned structural tasks, and ensuring defect-free work inaccordance with safety, quality, and production standards. Responsibilities: Performaircraft structural assembly, installation, repair, rework, and inspectionsupport in accordance with approved work instructions. Read andinterpret blueprints, drawings, electronic technical work instructions,specifications, and production documentation. Use handtools, power tools, pneumatic tools, diagnostic equipment, and mechanical liftssafely. Applysealants, primers, coatings, adhesives, and other approved materials asrequired by the task. Inspect ownwork quality, control FOD, and maintain compliance with safety and regulatorystandards. Supportproduction schedules while maintaining quality, documentation accuracy, andprocedure compliance. Work closelywith manufacturing, quality, engineering, and team leadership to resolveproduction issues. Requirements: Minimum 1 yearof experience in a manufacturing, technical, mechanical, aircraft maintenance,or equivalent military environment preferred. Ability toread and understand drawings, blueprints, specifications, and detailed writtenwork instructions in English. Experienceusing hand, power, and/or pneumatic tools. Ability towork variable shifts based on business needs. Ability tomeet physical requirements including standing, climbing, crawling, kneeling,bending, overhead reaching, and lifting/carrying as required. Ability tocomplete required training, certifications, and assessments. Market-competitivepay rates.
