COTA - Inpatient TherapyThe COTA in Inpatient Therapy provides services for patients in a rehabilitation setting. The candidate will work primarily with adults and geriatric patients. Skills in assessing and implementing treatment plans are necessary. Experience with adaptive equipment and specialized rehabilitation programs is essential. The role includes ensuring patient and family education regarding care plans. Understanding safety and injury prevention techniques is important. The candidate will also engage in discharge planning and community re-entry strategies. A background in treating various conditions, including neurological disorders, is preferred. Familiarity with a charting system, preferably Epic, is valued. Candidates will be required to float to various units as needed and have flexibility in scheduling. Team collaboration with physical therapy and other disciplines will be part of daily responsibilities.
