Role Description The Retail Sales Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Reston, VA. This role is responsible for engaging customers in the store, identifying their wireless and technology needs, and recommending AT&T products, services, and solutions that fit those needs. Day-to-day activities include demonstrating devices and services, processing sales transactions, activating new lines, and assisting with account questions or changes. The consultant supports store merchandising and cleanliness, participates in promotions, and meets or exceeds individual and store sales targets. This role also involves building long-term customer relationships, handling customer concerns promptly, and collaborating with team members and leadership to ensure an outstanding in-store experience. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Sales Consulting and Retail Sales skills, with the ability to meet sales goals and upsell products and services. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Experience and Customer Service skills to create welcoming, solution-focused interactions. Candidates should possess a commitment to Customer Satisfaction , including effective problem-solving and follow-up to resolve issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical products in clear, accessible language. Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Basic proficiency with mobile devices, point-of-sale systems, and common digital tools. Prior retail or wireless sales experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
