Outside Sales Representative – Construction Products

Company Vehicle Provided | Salary Position

We are seeking a motivated  Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team serving North Eastern Tennessee . This role is ideal for someone with construction knowledge who enjoys working directly with homeowners and generating their own opportunities.

Position Overview

The Outside Sales Representative will meet with homeowners to measure, consult, and sell  siding, windows, roofing, fencing, generators, doors, and gutters . This role requires local travel, in-home consultations, and proactive lead generation through retail store presence.

Responsibilities

• Visit potential customers’ homes to measure, present products, and close sales
• Sell siding, windows, doors, and gutters
• Spend a few hours each week in retail stores promoting the company and generating leads
• Maintain accurate measurements, proposals, and customer documentation
• Travel throughout Western TN (up to 3 hours one way on some days)
• Represent the company professionally at all times

Schedule

• 5 days per week
• Up to 2 Saturdays per month (as needed)

Requirements

• General construction knowledge, especially  siding, windows, fencing, generators, roofing and doors
• Comfortable working in customers’ homes
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage daily travel
• Sales experience preferred (construction or in-home sales a plus)

Training

• Two weeks of travel-based training (travel required)
• Followed by a 90-day training and ramp-up period

Territory

• Northeast Tennessee/Surrounding into VA, KY, NC
• Some days may require up to 3 hours of driving one way
