Neonatology Physician

Under limited supervision, a Physician agrees to render medical services to patients of the Center in the manner and to the extent permitted by law and applicable rules of professional ethics. Compensation will be determined by the Department Chairman and/or Division Head and/or the CMO. Education Medical Doctor degree Experience Neonatal ICU experience preferred Licenses, Certifications Board Certified in Neonatology Principal Duties and Responsibilities Participating with other neonatologists in clinical coverage of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the Well Baby Nursery, and providing consultative services for deliveries and prenatal consultation on Labor and Delivery. Developing and implementing policies and procedures to assure the safe, efficient and compassionate care of patients and families, and the smooth transition of neonates into the world outside GBMC. Developing and implementing practice protocols and evaluating their effectiveness through data collection and analysis. Collecting and analyzing data to document and improve patient outcomes. Participating in hospital committees as needed for representation of neonatal issues. Maintaining and developing courteous and professional relationships with the Medical Staff. Implementing and enforcing the Bylaws of the medical Center and the Bylaws of the Medical Staff as in effect, including any and all rules, regulations, protocols, policies, and standards of the American Medical Association and the Joint Commission, as well as all applicable laws. Pay Range $100,000.00 – $250,000.00 Final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, education, experience, and alignment with our organizational needs.
