The Wyckoff Family YMCA, located in northern Bergen County, is at the heart of the suburban Wyckoff community. It boasts a highly innovative program base, featuring two indoor pools, two full-sized gymnasiums, a performing arts center, and a newly renovated fitness center. The outdoor campus comprises approximately 14 acres, including two park-like acres centered around a swimmable lake. In addition, the site provides access to two full-sized turf fields located adjacent to the campus. These fields are shared with the Town and local sports organizations and are not exclusively operated by the Y. This Y is known for its high-level and robust involvement in community service and dedication to its philanthropic arm, Wyckoff Y Cares.
The President/CEO of the Wyckoff YMCA will work closely with the senior leadership team and Board of Directors to successfully advance the organization's new strategic plan and continue building a clear vision for Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility within the community it serves. KEY SKILLS AND ABILITIES OF OUR NEXT CEO The board believes its new CEO should be an experienced leader who has the background and qualities that will permit him or her to achieve excellence in the following roles: Develop and Implement a Strategic Plan: Work effectively with volunteers, community leaders, and key staff to create and develop a strategic plan that addresses the needs of the communities served by the Y and include defined organizational strategies, a clear implementation plan with deliverables, and measurable goals. Key Competencies: Change Leadership, Communication & Influence, Critical Thinking & Decision Making, Program/Project Management Improve Operating Performance: Engage the board and appropriate staff to develop an annual tactical plan for identifying and achieving key goals and objectives for operating with safe, relevant, and sustainable practices. Quickly address issues that may arise, forecast future needs, and manage and direct the Y's operations and activities. Key Competencies: Developing Self & Others, Critical Thinking & Decision Making, Innovation Fiscal Management: Use high-level financial analysis to forecast financial trends, growth, and stability, while consistently leading the organization to balance or surplus operations by growing earned revenue and contributions and controlling costs. Empower and guide staff leaders to lead their departments to successful financial operations. Develop and implement stewardship strategies. Key Competencies: Fiscal Management, Critical Thinking & Decision Making, Developing Self & Others, Philanthropy Build and Lead Staff: Ensure a talent development system is in place and executed effectively with cultural competence. Founded in 1944 as a summer camp for returning World War II veterans, the Wyckoff YMCA prides itself on serving all populations within the community. The organization operates four robust full-day childcare centers; provides school-age childcare programming in over 21 schools across the county; welcomes 1,000 kids daily during summer camp season; spotlights a comprehensive performing arts initiative to include music, acting, and dance; and welcomes hundreds of special needs members of all ages to participate in all things "YMCA." - Increasing Social Connections - further advancement of a robust Active Older Adult population through recreational and educational offerings.

YMCA Website: SALARY, BENEFITS, & CRITERIA Salary Range: $275,000-$325,000 Benefits:

- Accredited 4-year college degree and or equivalent work experience.
- Fiscally sound business management approach with a proven track record of budgetary and fiscal management more than $15M or more annually.
- Minimum seven years prior experience in a senior management role with a YMCA or related experience at a comparable organization with direct supervision of multiple levels of staff and employees.
- Must be able to develop and strengthen community relationships.
- Have the ability to develop innovative programs, review, and enhance programs being offered or considered for both economic and effectiveness in broadening our engagement in the communities in which we serve.
- Strategic planning and Fundraising experience including annual, capital, securing grants and endowment experience.
- YMCA Organizational Leader Certification or ability to achieve within 3 years.
