Registered Nurse (RN) - Same Day Surgery

Nurse – Perioperative

Schedule: Days, 8 hours: 5:45 am - 2:15 pm, M-F

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Pre-Op and Post-Op experience
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• Current state license

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff and team members regarding patient conditions and diagnostic results.
• Respond promptly and accurately to changes in patient conditions or treatment responses.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and manage unit patient populations effectively.
• Maintain service excellence standards and collaborate with team members to enhance patient care.
• Work independently and assist in delegating tasks when appropriate, especially during crises.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must work required weekends and holidays.
• Must adhere to all staffing and personnel policies.
• Required to keep all licensures and certifications current.
