Ability to perform cleaning procedures in accordance with the facility policies, ability to observe waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy, ability to follow directions, ability to assist in proper care and use of housekeeping equipment, ability to identify and report any equipment malfunction to housekeeping supervisor, ability to report any observed area in poor repair to supervisor, ability to dispense soap, paper and other housekeeping supplies, ability to attend in-service training porgrams for housekeeping employees, ability to observe infection control procedures related to housekeeping department, ability to follow resident's rights policies and procedures, ability to observe all facility safety policies and procedures, ability to come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality, ability to accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner, ability to assume accountability for data contained in the employees' handbook, ability to perfomr other related duties as directed by the Administrator, ability to work inside and outside environmental conditions as necessary, ability to work in an area exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards and chemical hazards.

List of essential functions is not inclusive and may later be supplemented or redefined by the Administrator.

Must be able to lift 35 to 50 pounds

Must be able to potentially crawl, crouch, kneel, lift, pull, push, reach, and stoop intermittenly during work.

Housekeeping experience preferred but not required
