Apply now if you think you would be the best Sonographer to join our community of professionals working in the Radiology Department. /n /n /n POSITION SUMMARY: /n The Sonographer performs a variety of routine, complex and highly technical procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative in the application of ionizing, high frequency ultrasonic waves to humans for diagnosis of disease. /n The Certified Staff/Senior Sonographer works under the administrative direction of the Radiology Director and Radiology Manager, and under the clinical direction and guidance of the Radiologist and Ultrasound Supervisor. The Sonographer performs a variety of routine, complex and highly technical procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative in the application of nonionizing, high frequency ultrasonic waves to humans for diagnosis of disease. /n /n MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: /n /n High School graduate or equivalent /n Graduate of an approved CAHEA/JRCT school of Radiologic Technology, or a two year allied health equivalent /n ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) certified and ARRT preferred. /n /n /n /n EXPERIENCE /n /n /n 2-3 years experience preferred /n Experience in vascular, OB and small part preferred. /n HOURS/SHIFTS: /n This position is Monday-Friday, noon-8:30pm with an on-call rotation of every 5th weekend (Saturday, Sundays, and holidays) from 8am-noon. /n /n /n /n SIGN ON BONUS & RELOCATION ELIGIBLE! /n /n /n External candidates who have not worked within the network in the past year are eligible for a hiring bonus based on experience - bonuses for full time new hires are between $10,000 and $15,000 and are paid out over a few installments.
