Job Details
We are seeking a customer-focused Universal Banker who is comfortable handling teller transactions while also supporting new account openings and lending-related activities. This role is ideal for a banker who thrives in a relationship-driven environment and enjoys variety in their day-to-day responsibilities.
Due to minimal teller traffic at this branch, the successful candidate will spend a significant portion of time assisting clients with deposit accounts, supporting loan processes, and identifying opportunities to deepen customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Teller Responsibilities
Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately
Issue cashier’s checks, money orders, and currency orders
Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate transaction records
Provide professional, high-quality customer service and resolve routine inquiries
Universal Banker Responsibilities
Open and maintain personal and business deposit accounts
Support lending activities, including gathering documentation and providing product information
Perform teller transactions as needed to support branch operations
Identify opportunities to recommend appropriate bank products and services based on customer needs
Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
One or more years of banking, financial services, or high-touch customer service experience preferred
Experience opening deposit accounts and supporting loan documentation strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Professional communication style with a relationship-first mindset
Comfortable working independently in a low-transaction branch environment
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
