Senior Director: Global Patient Safety Solutions Partner

Senior leadership role overseeing global patient safety technology platforms and strategy at a pharmaceutical company. Manages directors across safety systems including Argus, Signal Management, and risk management platforms while aligning technology with regulatory compliance and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own multi-year platform strategy and roadmap for five major safety systems
• Lead team of Directors overseeing delivery governance and regulatory-compliant operations across safety technology portfolio
• Establish governance frameworks, data standards, and validation practices ensuring GxP compliance across platforms
• Manage budget, forecasting, and vendor contracts for the global patient safety technology portfolio
• Partner with senior GPS, regulatory, and IT leadership to align technology investments with enterprise standards and safety obligations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
• 15+ years progressive experience managing enterprise-scale patient safety or drug safety technology platforms
• Deep expertise in Oracle Argus Safety, signal management, and risk management systems
• Experience with global safety reporting standards (E2B, ICSR) and regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA)
• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams with budget and vendor contract accountability
• Knowledge of GxP validation practices and solution delivery lifecycle management
• Biotech, pharma, or life sciences industry experience strongly preferred
