We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our Operations team in Orlando, FL. This full-time role focuses on shipping, receiving, inventory management, and production fulfillment. The ideal candidate possesses intermediate math and computer skills, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to improving stockroom processes and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming purchase orders of electronic components and raw materials using MS Dynamics AX (MRP).
  • Examine shipments against packing slips and communicate any discrepancies to purchasing.
  • Maintain inventory cycle counts for completed and finished goods.
  • Pull, count, and release production orders to manufacturing as directed by planning.
  • Prepare shipping/receiving documents, and load/unload shipments from carriers or LTL trucks.
  • Ship international shipments weekly to offshore facilities.
  • Utilize MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) for record keeping, reporting, and communication.
  • Coordinate with operations teams regarding status of materials, kits, and logistics.
  • Ensure timely completion of daily receiving and inventory tasks.
  • Assist with answering departmental calls as needed, providing professional customer support.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to 5S and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with inventory management, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with electronics specifications and Bill of Materials (BOM) is helpful.
  • Compliance: Must be able to work with ITAR data without a license and must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.

Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
    • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and occasionally lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals, fumes, and related by-products while wearing required PPE.
