Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Travel Position - Not accepting local candidates

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse with travel experience to join our Level 2 Trauma Center. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Administer and monitor medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform triage and assessment of patients upon arrival.
• Manage care for high acuity patients, including trauma cases.
• Utilize the EPIC charting system for documentation and patient care management.
• Participate in emergency response and codes as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must possess a current RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department.
• Travel experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (pending acceptable).
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is required.
• Proof of vaccination: Two-step PPD and flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine required.
