Physical Therapist AB Staffing is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for the 2025/2026 School Year. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university Valid Louisiana License for Physical Therapy 1+ years of relevant experience; school and/or pediatric experience preferred BLS/CPR Certification Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to handle multiple tasks, stand or sit for extended periods, see and read printed and digital materials, hear and understand speech, and follow oral and written instructions Physical ability to walk, stand, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally lift equipment/materials up to 40 pounds Job Description: Caseload and classroom details vary by school location. Recruitment specialists will discuss the best fit based on your experience and skills. This contract runs through the 2025/2026 school year, with a schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week aligned with the academic calendar. Responsibilities: Evaluate patients through observation, testing, and listening to concerns to develop individualized care plans Provide competent care using exercises, stretching, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage pain, improve mobility, and prevent injury Build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to achieve their goals Communicate patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines to ensure continuity of care Document all patient care according to departmental policies Maintain a safe, clean environment adhering to infection control policies Salary: $1,600.00 – $1,664.00 per week.
