Senior Epicor Kinetic Financials Consultant

Our client is seeking an experienced ERP Financials Consultant with deep expertise in Epicor Kinetic implementations and financial process transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for a consulting professional who understands both accounting operations and ERP best practices within manufacturing and distribution environments.

The successful candidate will work directly with client stakeholders to evaluate current financial workflows, design future-state solutions, support implementations, and guide organizations through ERP adoption and optimization initiatives.

This is a client-facing consulting role requiring strong communication, presentation, documentation, and solution-design capabilities. Travel to customer sites throughout the U.S. is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial process discovery sessions and business process assessments with customers
• Analyze current-state accounting operations and develop future-state ERP recommendations
• Design and configure Epicor Kinetic financial structures in both single-company and multi-company environments
• Facilitate workshops, demonstrations, and process validation sessions with finance and operational teams
• Develop functional requirements documentation and business process recommendations
• Configure and validate core financial modules and related workflows
• Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation, and go-live readiness activities
• Assist organizations through ERP cutover, month-end, year-end, and post-implementation stabilization efforts
• Train users on financial operations, costing methodologies, reconciliations, and financial controls
• Deliver reporting solutions utilizing Epicor’s standard financial reporting capabilities and related reporting tools
• Provide ongoing support and advisory services to live ERP customers across multiple Epicor environments
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and executive stakeholders to ensure successful project execution

Required Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience implementing Epicor ERP / Epicor Kinetic financial solutions
• Participation in multiple full-cycle ERP implementations
• Strong expertise in:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Fixed Assets
  • Project Accounting
  • Advanced Billing
  • Multi-company accounting environments
  • Financial consolidations and intercompany processing
• Experience conducting business process reviews and producing formal future-state recommendations
• Ability to identify operational and accounting gaps and translate them into ERP-driven solutions
• Experience estimating project effort, workshop timelines, training needs, and implementation scope
• Strong understanding of:
  • Costing methods
  • Inventory and WIP reconciliation
  • Job closing processes
  • Month-end and year-end financial procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive-level presentation experience

Preferred Experience

• Tax automation and compliance setup experience
• Exposure to financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting tools
• Experience with:
  • Financial reporting and analytics platforms
  • Spreadsheet-based reporting integrations
  • Cash management solutions
  • Payroll processes
  • Financial posting rule customization
• Previous accounting or corporate finance background preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline preferred

• Participate in internal training initiatives, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing activities
• Support pre-sales efforts including demonstrations, solution discussions, and customer presentations
• Maintain accurate project documentation, status updates, and time reporting
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a consulting environment
• Willingness to travel up to 50% based on project requirements
