Join our team of epic creators!The Operations Manager will lead and direct the overall day-to-day operations of DTJ Design and provide oversight and support to the administrative staff and functions of remote offices. This high visibility role will also manage the Contracts Administration process and work closely with all the Partners of the firm, as well as the President and CEO.Key Responsibilities:Manages the Contracts Administration process to include reviewing, tracking, editing, and formatting contracts, including AIA as well as DTJ or client generated contracts. Recommends and performs edits to improve or enhance contracts as well as protect DTJ Design's interests. Ensures executed contracts are shared with all appropriate parties and stored correctly.Oversees Harbor compliance process for Company Business Licenses and Individual Professional Licenses.Manages facilities for offices to include:Lease Management; Lease administrationCapital project planning and managementEmployee space planningLiaison with Building Property Management team; Commercial Realtors as neededManages or assists in purchasing activities including supplies and other facility needs.Discover and evaluate opportunities to create initiatives that further the company's overall goals.Coordinate diverse teams to foster an exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunitiesIdentify potential problems and points of friction to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency and revenue.Contribute operational information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plansDevelop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; Oversee large equipment contract needs and maintenance.Analyze and improve organizational processes and workflow, employee and space requirements, and equipment layout; implement changes as needed.Serves as primary liaison with utilities and local government agencies, such as fire, police, health, and safety agencies.Manage relationships with key operations vendors.Track vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels.Works closely with HR and leadership team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field (preferred).Technically savvy with demonstrated knowledge of best practices in a corporate environment.Ability to interface with all staff levels.Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.Extensive knowledge of operations and business management.Ability to interpret financial data as needed to set production or efficiency goals.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Strong commitment to the company's mission and values.Why Work at DTJ - "Experience Culture" Design:Salary range: $70,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on qualifications, experience, and locationComprehensive benefits package including profit sharing, matching 401(k), medical, dental, disability, and other ancillary insurance benefits3 weeks PTO, with the option of purchasing additional time, 6 days Sick Leave + 7 Paid HolidaysFlexible work hoursProfessional development, continuing education, and licensing supportCommunity involvement opportunities through " Experience Compassion " programMost importantly, DTJ offers the opportunity to create exceptional places while building a rewarding career within an integrated, multidisciplinary design firmApplication Requirements:Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.
