Principal Data Scientist

Ascentt Systems Inc is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Principal Data Scientist based in Plano, TX. Responsibilities will include: Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. Design and develop global forecasting models for short- and long-range forecasts to evaluate and validate forecasting models to ensure accuracy and reliability. Intake the business requirements and perform data analysis and experiment using machine learning techniques to model the problem with maximum productivity and reviewing the model performance. Create graphs, charts, or other visualizations to convey the results of data analysis using specialized software. Deliver oral or written presentations of the results of mathematical modeling and data analysis to management or other end users. Design surveys, opinion polls, or other instruments to collect data. Collaborate with business and data engineers to deploy and integrate forecasting solutions into production systems. Utilize experience in Python, Apache Spark, MongoDB, AWS Sagwmaker, Redis, SQL and business experience in supply chain domain. Position requires 50% national travel.

Position requires Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Professional Studies-Applied Statistics, Computer Science and Engineering or a related field, plus two (2) years of experience in a related occupation.

Position requires experience in Python, Apache Spark, MongoDB, AWS Sagwmaker, Redis, SQL and business experience in supply chain domain.
