Part-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist

We are actively seeking a compassionate, fully licensed (we are not currently hiring for associates) Mental Health Therapist for our clinic who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our patients. You will be responsible for doing diagnostic assessments, making customized treatment plans with goals and objectives, providing crisis intervention as needed, and following up with patients to ensure they are receiving appropriate ongoing care. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of clinical experience working with mental health patients, as well as a current fully licensed LMHC (licensed mental health counselor, LPC, LCSW, LMFT) license. We are a collaborative group specializing in OCD and related anxiety disorders. We would ask that the provider be open to training in OCD treatment and ongoing consultation with Andrea Alvarez, LPC-S, the owner of AMA Behavioral Therapy. Additionally, we ask that the clinician be open to seeing children. We can offer flexible scheduling as this is a part-time position, but we would ask for at least 15 hours of availability a week. Our office is located in the Shavano Park area. We have on-site admin staff who are in the office typically 9:00 am-5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 9:00 am-2:00 pm on Fridays to assist and manage scheduling and billing, and anything in between.
