Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 31
• Patient Ratios: 6:1
• Unit staffing description- unit secretaries 6 am 10 pm; techs available on all shifts
• Type of equipment:
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: 12 hour shifts with rotating weekends
• Floating policy: will float to other Med-Surg and Tele units
• Patient Experience requirements: at least one year of acute care experience

Hospital Specifics:

• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required

Hiring Profile

Requested Skill Set:

• Must have: excellent physical assessment and documentation skills, experience caring for acute care stroke patients, time management skills, well developed critical thinking skills, well established A.I.D.E.T behaviors, knowledge of core measures and prevention of HACs, HAIs
• Advanced skills needed: Chemo experience is a plus
• Procedures performed on unit:
• Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS required, NIHSS certification

Dress Code: (Required uniform) Ceil blue scrubs with white or ceil blue jacket if worn
