About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: ARRT MR Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - 1 year of EPIC experience required - No first-time travelers Description: Shift schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Call is required. The role requires competencies in adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ER/Trauma. The ideal candidate must have experience with various MRI procedures including abdomen, chest, pelvis, and brain imaging. Skills in performing contrast media preparations and adhering to radiation safety protocols are essential. Interpretation services and rapid response teams provide interdisciplinary support. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census averages around 130. Staff must be willing to float to other units as required due to census concerns and must be qualified to perform necessary tasks. Modules are billable and need to be completed annually. Travel experience is required.
