- # LIVE HANGER - grade 5Applylocations: Cassville, MOtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR-2026005957It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!*We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.***SUMMARY:** The purpose of a live hanger is to discern between live and dead chickens and hang the live ones on moving shackles.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include, but are not limited to, the following:* Be able to work in a fast paced setting hanging a live chicken weighing 2-5 pounds, on every 5th shackle* Adhere to all George’s policies & procedures and all animal welfare laws & regulations.* Must be able to stand for several hours at a time* Must be able to work in a dimly lighted work area shoulder to shoulder with other employees* Must be able to grasp a chicken at approximately waist level and hang a live chicken on a shackle at shoulder height* Must be able to discern a live chicken from a dead chicken**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**This position will not have supervisory responsibility.**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*** **Required** + none* **Preferred** + None*George’s is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to, among others, individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
