Warehouse Associate PositionHamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a warehouse associate position at a company in New Milford, CT. This is a temp-to-hire position. The warehouse associate is primarily responsible for working in the warehouse and moving products. The hours are 8:15 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $18 an hour.Job Responsibilities:Pick products from shelf locations (check product code, size, Qty and lot/batch against packout request for production techs)Keep shelves neat and orderlyPull drums and bulk pails and deliver them to the production department for repackingStock shelves with finished products from production departmentPerform general warehouse maintenance, including cleaning/sweepingAll other duties and projects as assignedJob Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentWarehouse and material handling experience preferredComfortable working with chemicalsFamiliarity with DOT 49CFR guidelines is beneficialAble to handle physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting, lifting products overhead during loading and unloading, carrying freight, and pushing and/or pulling weights on pallet jacks or drum dolly up to and in excess 450 poundsExcellent communication skillsReliable and punctualAble to pass pre-employment screenings
