Human Resources Generalist

Schedule: Monday-Friday - 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch) Client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to provide immediate support while the facility recruits for a permanent employee. This is a fully on-site position and will play a critical role in supporting a busy Human Resources department during a transition period. The HR Generalist will manage the day-to-day HR functions, including full-cycle onboarding, recruitment support, employee records management, benefits administration, employment verifications, leave administration, and new hire orientation. This position also serves as the facility's Protected Leave Specialist, coordinating and administering Oregon Paid Leave (Paid Leave Oregon), OFLA/FMLA, and other protected leave programs, while working closely with payroll, employee health, department leaders, and the Chief Human Resources Officer. Additional responsibilities include maintaining HR documentation, processing background checks, assisting with candidate interviews, coordinating employee recognition and engagement events, tracking employee licenses and evaluations, and providing exceptional customer service to employees throughout the organization. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a healthcare setting Experience administering Oregon leave programs, including Paid Leave Oregon, OFLA, and FMLA Experience with onboarding, recruitment, and employee relations Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office; UKG experience is a plus PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
