Warehouse Team Lead Qualifications + Requirements High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience; previous Warehouse Lead, Team Lead, or Warehouse Supervisor experience preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Forklift certification or recent forklift operating experience. Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory control, shipping and receiving, and Microsoft Office. Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. Warehouse Team Lead Responsibilities + Job Duties Lead daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, order picking, packing, and order fulfillment. Coordinate daily workflow and assign tasks to warehouse associates to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, move the freight and stage it. Maintain accurate inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), perform cycle counts, and prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, and shipping documentation. Provide outstanding customer service by communicating with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and on‑time deliveries. Train and mentor warehouse associates while promoting OSHA safety standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
