Senior Compensation Analyst

The Senior Compensation Analyst serves as a subject-matter expert in compensation, providing market analysis, job evaluation, salary recommendations, pay equity analysis, incentive administration, and compensation reporting, while supporting the ongoing evolution of Zeus' global job architecture, salary structures, and pay-for-performance programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the administration of the Company's global compensation programs, policies, and salary structures while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Conducting market pricing and benchmarking utilizing various market survey sources to evaluate external competitiveness and internal pay equity.
• Evaluating new and existing positions through job analysis, leveling, and compensation assessment to ensure alignment with the Company's job architecture framework.
• Partnering with Senior Manager of Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Human Resources Business Partners to provide compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, market adjustments, retention actions, and reorganizations.
• Analyzing compensation trends and workforce data to identify pay compression, internal equity concerns, geographic differentials, and market movement.
• Supporting the annual compensation planning process, including merit increases, promotions, incentive payouts, salary structure updates, and budget modeling.
• Conducting pay equity analyses and supporting compliance with applicable federal, state, and international pay transparency legislation.
• Preparing compensation reports, dashboards, utilizing HRIS, business intelligence, and reporting tools.
• Assisting with the development and maintenance of salary structures, pay grades, geographic differentials, and compensation guidelines.
• Partnering with HRIS and Payroll teams to ensure compensation data is accurately maintained within Oracle Fusion HCM and supporting systems.
• Supporting compensation-related system testing, data validation, configuration changes, and implementation activities.
• Developing compensation models and financial analyses to support business decisions, organizational restructuring, acquisitions, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Assisting in the administration of annual bonus and other incentive compensation programs, including eligibility reviews, calculations, validations, and reporting.
• Reviewing and auditing compensation transactions to ensure compliance with company policies, salary administration guidelines, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, human resources, business administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of professional analytical, finance, project management, or generalist/payroll experience, with at least two years of compensation analyst experience.
• Strong project management skills, ability to meet strict guidelines, and navigate a fast-paced environment that requires consistent follow-up with stakeholders.
• Knowledge and experience with state and federal labor laws related to compensation (FLSA, pay equity requirements, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proven ability to interface with business leaders across an organization to achieve business goals.
• Proven ability to be flexible, juggling multiple tasks, shifting priorities simultaneously.

Required skills include:

• Proficiency in compensation analysis tools and techniques, including market pricing and benchmarking.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, make data-driven recommendations and manage large, complex data sets.
• Proven organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in a fast-paced environment with competing demands and ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Education and Experience include:

• Compensation certification a plus.
• Experience working with team members from dispersed geographic locations, virtually and in-person.
• Experience working with Oracle or similar Human Resource Information System (HRIS) a plus.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth company as a self-starter.
