Travel RN – Surgical ICU (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Surgical ICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio (1:1 for high-acuity patients including post-CABG)
• Manage and monitor patients including trauma, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU populations
• Operate and manage specialized equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia devices, and ECMO
• Perform and assist with procedures such as chest tube management, central line care, and medication drip administration
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care techs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
• Proficiency with ICU-level equipment and high-acuity patient management

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification
• Prior travel nursing experience, particularly at large trauma facilities
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
