Boscov's is a chain of full service department stores serving the total family needs of our customers. We are looking for retail LP Detectives to join our growing Loss Prevention team. Job Responsibilities Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. Provide loss prevention support and awareness through policies, procedures, and personal involvement. Provide surveillance and assist police with apprehensions of shoplifters. Conduct store opening and closing procedures. Perform safety audits, including fire prevention inspections. Answer alarm responses. Perform insurance inspections and investigations. Qualifications Successful candidates should have effective communication skills and interpersonal skills required to work with customers, management, and coworkers. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills are essential. Other required qualifications include: Prior experience in retail loss prevention, preferred. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Availability to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, early openings, and late closings.
