This is an entry level position in the department. The operator is an essential person in preparing and maintain the computer numerical control (CNC) machine to produce machined parts. Help maintain a safe, clean environment and prepare the machine to effectively run with minimal downtime. This person may work a first shift or possible a staggered second shift. The individual will be working on CNC lathes.

• Confirm job order procedures and instructions relating to machine operations.
• Set up and operate CNC Machines and/or production equipment; strictly following instructions, job specifications and blueprints.
• Read blueprints accurately to properly set up machinery.
• Operate hand tools as necessary to set up tools in the correct machine.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
• Identify and stamp parts for traceability.
• Inspect products per print.
• Keep machine clean, perform minor maintenance as needed, and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
• Other duties as assigned
Education - Experience:
• High school diploma or Equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing environment, preferable 12 years in a machining department
