JOB TITLE: Lead Medical Coordinator (RN) Location: 92501, Riverside, California Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Salary: $90,000–$100,000 + $3,000 Sign-On Bonus About the Opportunity Join a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children, families, and underserved communities. This is a highly collaborative, administrative nursing role focused on medical case management, compliance, care coordination, and team leadership. There is no direct patient care or bedside nursing involved. What You'll Do Coordinate and oversee medical care for children in foster care and residential programs. Serve as the primary liaison between healthcare providers, program staff, families, and community partners. Ensure medical records, documentation, and compliance requirements are maintained accurately and timely. Monitor medical appointments, immunizations, medications, and ongoing healthcare needs. Review and update required medical information in federal and state compliance systems. Support discharge planning by coordinating medical resources and services. Train and guide caregivers on medication administration and healthcare protocols. Supervise, mentor, and support a small medical team. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and advocate for children's healthcare needs. Maintain partnerships with healthcare providers and community resources. Qualifications Required Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Valid driver's license. Preferred Experience in child welfare, foster care, public health, care coordination, or healthcare administration. Leadership or supervisory experience. Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.
