Job Description

Opens doors and serves residents, guests, or patrons of hotel or similar establishment by performing the following duties:

  • The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable of all local attractions, restaurants, entertainment ideas and directions.
  • Must always present a pleasant customer service attitude.
  • Understand and practice exceptional hospitality.
  • Greet all guests with a smile at all times.
  • Use the guest's last name at all times when appropriate.
  • Responsible for opening doors for all guests entering and exiting the hotel.
  • Provide professional hospitality in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner to all guests.
  • Assist guests with transportation to offsite locations using only approved taxi/limo service.
  • Maintain accuracy and composure while under pressure.
  • Knowledge of hotel layout, meeting rooms, amenities, services, main attractions in the area, parking rates, etc.
  • Continually monitor and maintain cleanliness and order of guest services area.
  • Post up in the appropriate area when not completing tasks.
  • Work in accordance with our Security Department to ensure all safety measures are being followed.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or resort as a concierge, doorman, or bellman preferred.
  • Deliver Passionate & Engaging Service to our Guests.
    • You will be passionate and truly engaged in taking care of our guests, recognizing individual guests, and anticipating their unique needs in order to exceed their expectations.
    • You will consistently deliver our GUEST model:
      • Greet or welcome everyone, warmly with a smile.
      • Use eye and ear contact and guest's name.
      • Establish/anticipate needs.
      • Solve and own all requests/complaints.
      • Thank everyone.
    • Build solid relationship with your Colleagues.
      • Treat colleagues with respect and dignity.
    • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.
