Construction Coordinator

Looking for a construction coordinator in the Wendell, NC area. Candidate should have experience in outside plant construction along with coax and fiber construction.

Preferred five years in the telecommunications industry
Self motivated, positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Understanding of coax and fiber plant, aerial and under ground construction procedures and materials
Candidate should be well-organized, proactive, resourceful, flexible, able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers, meet deadlines
Proficiency with spreadsheets, Smartsheets, Drop Box, email, Adobe pro and word processing programs
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
Flexibility in working overtime as needed to meet project deadlines
Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Responsibilities:

Tracking all jobs and keeping the customer informed about project status and issues that may affect deadlines
Review and interpret telecommunication construction plans and specifications
Facilitate communication between different teams involved in the construction process
Assist in obtaining and tracking permits and locate tickets
Creating and maintaining project files, and associated support documentation
Other duties as assigned
